Leslie Hogan “Chip” Little IV, 52, a native of Macon, Ga., longtime resident of Birmingham, Ala., and a current resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011.
Chip spent most of his life in Birmingham, where he attended school. He is loved and cherished by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.
Chip was preceded in death by his mother, BettyJo Cowan Little, and brother, John “Jack” Cowan Little.
He is survived by his father, Leslie H. Little, and his wife, Hazel, of Meridian, Miss.; sister, Linda Carolyn Little McSpedden, and her husband, Russell, of Cabot, Ark.; step-sister, Betty Springer of Meridian, Miss.; special aunt, Carolyn Crawford, of Fairhope; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 5, at noon in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, in Trussville, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, www.heart.org .
