Leon Scott Carson, 81, was born May 4,1941 in Birmingham, Alabama, reared in Pickens County. Scott passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital. He made Baldwin County his home. Scott was a graduate of Aliceville High School and a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Agribusiness.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leon Troy Carson and Edwyna Davis Carson. He is survived by his wife Mary Burnett Carson, sister Beth Carson Johnson, children Carl Alan Carson (Marion Carson) and Brian Carson (Elana Carson), grandchildren Aaron Carson (Denise Carson) and Hannah Carson.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday May 28, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, located at 120 W 2nd St, Bay Minette, Alabama.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with services beginning at 4 pm.
This is a celebration of life, so friends and family will be encouraged to give a recounting of a humorous encounter or situation with Scott.
