Leon Fields, 55, of Millbrook, Ala., formerly of Stockton, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Prattville.
Mr. Fields was a native of Stockton, and had attended Vaughn School. He worked as a machine operator with Gulf Packaging in Bay Minette.
He had relocated in recent years to Millbrook.
Those left to cherish his life are his wife, Carolyn D. Gray-Fields of Millbrook; one daughter, Rachel (Tony) Gant of Summerville, S.C.; two sons, John (Candice) Gray of Millbrook and Remarcus C. (Crystal) Gray of Birmingham; three sisters, Mary Harriston of Atlanta, Ga., Doris Fields of Mobile and Flora Ann Harris of Stockton; two brothers, Mack Fields of Mobile and Orbert Lee Fields of Bay Minette; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 11 a.m., at The Triumph Church in Stockton, with the Rev. Morrisette, pastor, officiating. Inhumation will be in the Robinson Cemetery in Stockton. His body will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the funeral service.
