Leo Edison “Bo” Gentry, 71, a native of Mineola and a resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at his residence.
He retired as a leaderman with Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company and served in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Betty Gentry.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary (Nick) White of Crossroads; five grandchildren, Windle Shane Jernigan, Erin Nichole White, Jimmy Edison White, Jesse Eugene White and Carla Breanne Young, all of Crossroads; and two brothers, Clarence Eugene Gentry Jr. of Mobile and Harvey Eugene Gentry of Maryland.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William Oldenquist officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Nicholis White, Eugene White, Jimmy White, Byrd Peterman, Matt Stinson and Matt Paul; honorary pallbearer will be Andrew “T-Bo” West.
