Leland Lartigue, a native of Mobile and resident of Daphne, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after a long battle with COPD.
Leland was a retired firefighter for the city of Mobile, and a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Hughins Lartigue; a daughter, Heather (Sam) Weatherspoon; sister, Becky Lartigue; grandchildren, Michael and Kathryn Weatherspoon; and granddog, Holly.
Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne on Monday, April 21, 2014, at noon. A graveside service and interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
