Myrtle Leigh Grimes Leiser, 92, a native of Bigbee, a longtime resident of Fairhope, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012.
She was a charter member and life member of the Fairhope Emblem Club #241.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Ted Leiser Jr. Survivors include her sons, Theodore Louis (Elaine) Leiser III Lithia, Fla., Robert Earl (Brenda) Leiser, David Wayne (Jeannie) Leiser and Douglas Leigh (Joyce) Leiser, all of Fairhope; daughter, Patti Ann (Rich) Mueller of Fairhope; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 from the funeral home chapel.; She will lie in state from noon until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Colony Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Fairhope Emblem Club #241, Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 216, Fairhope, AL 36533.
