Lena LeGault, 83, a native of New York and a resident of Baldwin County since 1990 died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at a local hospital after a short illness.
She was born Oct. 11, 1926 in Brooklyn. She raised her family with her husband on Long Island where she worked for the New York State School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene “Artie” LeGault and a daughter, Leila Ann LeGault.
Survivors include a son, Arthur (Carol) LeGault and their son, Ryan of Daphne; daughter, Barbara LeGault (Paul) Garner, and their son Andrew of Fairhope; sister, Josephine Bonauro of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother Tony Damiano of Castle Rock, Colo.; many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
