Jonathan Lee, 68, born Dec. 10, 1938, a native and a resident of Loxley, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kilven Lee; daughter-in-law, Georgia M. Davis; parents, Benjamin and Geneva Lee; brothers, Edward Gressitte and Kellem Lee.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Amy Lee of Loxley; his first wife, Lizzie Lee Love of Loxley; six sons, Joe D. Davis, Vincent (Yolanda) Lee, Herbert J. Davis, all of Loxley, Michael J. (Felicia) Lee Sr. of Atlanta, Vernon (April) Lee of Tolmonville, Ga., and Christopher Grimes of Daphne; two daughters, Lorraine D. (Earlie Houston Sr.) Houston of Mobile, Brenda (Benjamin) Tilley of Atlanta; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elouise (Luke) Thomas, Mary Jo (Rudolph) Lawson and Margareh E. (George D.) Stallworth, all of Moss Point, Miss.; brother, George Lee of Loxley; a host of loving nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Levi Brown and R.C. Prims; special friends, Min. Robert (Rosie) Reed III; three brothers-in-law; Deloris Brown and family; and his loving dog, Heavenly.
Visitation will begin at noon with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Ebenzer Baptist Church, Loxley. Interment will follow at Ebenzer Baptist Church Cemetery.
