Katie Gray Lee, 95, a resident of Pensacola, Fla., and Gateswood for most of her life, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Nancy Green of Bryson City, N.C.; a daughter, Rebecca Eve; two special sons-in-laws and seven sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, A.C. Lee of Gateswood; two sons, Willis T. Kennedy Jr. and Anthony Craig (Maggie) Lee of Gateswood; two daughters, Jackie Corey (Pete Newbauer) of Baker, La., and Betty M. Story of Tenn. Colony, Texas; brother, Nathan Green of Bryson, N.C.; 62 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment with the Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Spring Cemetery in Robertsdale.
Pallbearers are Anthony Lee, Jonathan Lee, Jason Turk, Donald Corey, Willie Kennedy and Vernon Corey. Honorary pallbearers were James M. Story, Tim Corey and Barney Corey.
Arrangements are made by Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, Cantonment, Fla.
