Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lawhorn of Stapleton announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Nicole Lawhorn, to Stephen Gregory Rouss, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rouss of Saraland.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Baldwin County High School, Faulkner State Community College in Bay Minette and a 2006 graduate of the University of Mobile in Mobile.
She works at Faith Academy in Mobile.
She is the granddaughter of James C. Davis and the late Lu Davis of Odessa, Texas, and Helen Lawhorn and the late E.W. Lawhorn of Titusville, Fla.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Satsuma High School in Satsuma and 2007 graduate of the University of Mobile in Mobile. He works at the First Baptist Church in Bay Minette.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rouss of Mobile and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kelly of Chickasaw.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. July 7, 2007 at Stapleton Baptist Church.
