Muriel Mae Lauer, born in 1924 in Oakland, Calif., a resident of Seminole, died May 5, 2008.
She was raised in Oakland, relocated to Prospect, Ohio, to marry J. Fred Lauer and retired after a successful career in the public school system of Westerville, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J. Fred Lauer of Seminole; daughter, Donna Craft of Seminole; four sons, Mike Lauer of Jasper, Fla., Tim Lauer of Franklin, Tenn., David Lauer of Lakeland, Fla., and Richard Lauer of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17 at her home in Seminole.
