Larry Eugene Rawson, 71, of Troy, died Monday, March 3, 2014 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.
Mr. Rawson lettered in football at Auburn University from 1961-1963. He graduated from Auburn with an electrical engineering degree in 1964, and was a member of the First United Baptist Church of Troy.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Rawson; sons, Jeff Rawson (Donyale), Randy Rawson, Todd Rawson (Kristen) and Kevin Rawson; brothers, Lamar Rawson and David Rawson (Pat); sister, Judy Wiggins (Gary); seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home in Troy, with Dr. Luke Lane officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Troy “Faith Commitment Mission” at 200 W. College St., Troy, AL 36081.
