Ruth Catherine Lambert, born Dec. 23 1928 to Henry and Carrie Jones, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Foley at an early age, died Monday, April 2, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nathaniel Lambert, daughter, Carol Jones George, and two brothers, Dolva and Louis Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Guion; four sisters, Margaret Knight, Mamie (Ben) Brooks, Mable Rorie and Helen Jones; three brothers, Charles Jones, Donald Jones and Willie (Frankie) Reed; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, devoted and loving nephew, James (Pam) Knight, devoted niece, Regina Jones, loving friend that was like a daughter, Viola Cooper, and a special lifetime companion, Less Knight Jr.
Funeral services and visitation were held Friday, April 6 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Burial followed at Beulah Heights Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
