L.C. "Bo" Lambert, 73, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008 in Daphne.
He was a native of Mobile and a resident of Bay Minette. He was a past Master Mason and Shriner. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. After retirement in 1997 from Iron Workers Local #798, he enjoyed his employment as a security guard at the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lambert, a daughter, Barbara Ann Lambert, and a son, Luke Lambert.
Survivors include a son, Nick Lambert of Daphne; sister, Daisy Kogut of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Olen A. Lambert Sr. of Daphne, Dusty B. Lambert of Semmes; four grandchildren, Lee, Christie, Stephanie and Cole; four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
His family would like to thank all the employees at the USS Alabama for all their efforts and support given to Bo thru his difficult times.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile.
