FOLEY, Ala.—The Daphne Lady Trojans improved to 2-2 in Class 6A Area 4 volleyball Tuesday with a three-game sweep at Foley to win 25-23, 25-16, 25-10 over the Lady Lions.

Nikki McCall led Daphne with 10 kills, five digs and a block; Jordan Filotei with 14 digs, two kills and a service ace; Suzanne Evans with 20 set assists, four kills, nine digs and three blocks. Sandra Cross added 10 digs with three service aces and Taylor West picked up 10 digs and scored an ace for the Trojans.

Daphne will host St. Luke’s Episcopal Thursday at 5:30 p.m., play in the Battle at Spanish Fort Friday and Saturday and travel to Baldwin County High for an Area 4 match Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. 

Foley will host Area 4 rival Fairhope High School Sept. 24 and neighboring rival Gulf Shores Sept. 26. Each match starts  at 5:30 p.m.
