GULF SHORES – The Gulf Shores Lady Dolphins improved to 3-1 overall with a 41-31 home win over Mobile Christian’s Leopards on Tuesday.

Gulf Shores coach Rhett Tranchina said his team’s press made a difference in the game.

“The girls love to chase the ball, they love to press,” Tranchina said. “They always ask me in practice if they can do more of it. I think the press really helped to set the tone of the game early on.”

Laura Peavy led the Lady Dolphins in scoring with 12 points, while Khadijah Jackson added 10.
