Robert Irving LaBrecque, 76, of Lillian died Saturday, March 31, 2007 in Bay Minette.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion in Lillian, Fleet Reserve Association in Pensacola, Fla., Retired Enlisted Mens Association, Liberty Church in Pensacola and the Lillian Optimist Club./
He was a volunteer for the Lillian Park Association and retired from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Terry LaBrecque of Lillian; three daughters, JoAnn (Howard) LaBrecque-French of Houston, Karin LaBrecque of Franklin, N.C., and Susan (Marc) Gorlach of Coral Springs, Fla.; two sons, Karl (Carolyn) LaBrecque of Marietta, Ga., and Neil (Naomie) LaBrecque of Bethlehem, Ga.; four sisters, Jean Dixon of Las Vegas, Marion Ainsworth of Las Vegas, Carol Harmony of Wenham, Mass., and Rosa Marie Churchill of Derry, N.H.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services and visitation were held Wednesday, April 4 at Liberty Church, Blue Angel Parkway, Pensacola, followed by burial with full graveside military honors at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
