William Allen “The Rookie” Kruse, born Feb. 15, 1955 died Wednesday June 23, 2010.
He was a Davidson High School graduate and attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He was a charter boat captain for 25 years and was a director of the Orange Beach Fishing Association.
His passions in life were his family and fishing. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a true person, honest, and sincere. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by his wife and children, his family, his fishing brothers as well as his fishing customers.
Those that knew him will truly never forget him and will eternally miss him.
Survivors include his wife Tracy Kruse; two sons, Ryan Kruse and Cory Kruse; two daughters, Kelli Kruse and Nikki Kruse; his mother, Marolyn Kruse; and two brothers, Marc and Frank Kruse.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 27 at the Christian Life Church, Orange Beach.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the “Rookie” fund at any local Regions Bank.
