FOLEY, Ala. - Krispy Kreme Doughnuts held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to acknowledge and celebrate them joining the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and opening the Foley location.

A grand opening event was held May 24 at Krispy Kreme as residents lined up outside waiting for the doors to officially open to the public.

"We were pleased that they chose to do business in Foley when they had the option to choose anywhere in South Baldwin County," Vic Cirilli, membership director, said.

The location is open 24 hours a day in both the lobby and drive-thru, and this is the first Krispy Kreme location in Baldwin County.
