Andrew Harry “Andy” Korbe, born March 1, 1923 in Sewickly, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008.
During World War II he served his country as a U.S. Army Medic throughout Europe, most notably at the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors include his devoted wife of nearly 65 years, Eleanor G. Korbe; son, Michael (Donna) Korbe; beloved grandsons, Drew (Tonya) Korbe and Derek Korbe; five beloved great-grandchildren, and a loving sister, June (Philip) Ege.
Visitation will begin at noon with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Army.
