Kathleen M. “Kathy” Koesel, 58, a native of Pittsburgh and a resident of Orange Beach, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008.
She was a soccer mom, den mother and loved to garden. She was a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in interior design then graduated as a registered nurse from St. Louis Nursing School.
Survivors include her husband, Jim P. Koesel of Orange Beach; son, Jason A. (Jennifer) Koesel of St. Louis; brother, William Drechsler of Newbern, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Autumn, Carolyn, Grace and James Koesel.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12 from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley Sundberg officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 35432.
