GULF SHORES, AL — The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber recently presented its Island Spirit Award for July 2015 to James Chancellor of Kentwood Springs water company at a special ceremony at the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber office in Gulf Shores.

The Chamber Staff, on behalf of Island Spirit Chairman, Nora Mandoki, cited Chancellor’s extraordinarily gracious and positive attitude. "James is always smiling. His spirit is truly one of gratitude for simply living and he shares his generous spirit with everyone he encounters!"

The Island Spirit Award is presented monthly by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber. It has been a tradition since the mid-1980's. The award was designed to give special recognition to individuals who make special contributions to the quality of life we enjoy in the Coastal Alabama region. Nora Mandoki chairs the Island Spirit Committee. Anyone can nominate a special individual for this honor.
