Kenneth Courtney was a native of Robertsdale, Alabama, and a resident of Summerdale, Alabama. He passed away on Thurs., Oct. 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Mr. Courtney was a graduate of Robertsdale Hish School. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Courtney was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale, Alabama. He enjoyed his woodworking, making everything from cabinets to picture frames. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deena Boehm Courtney and is survived by his sons, Brian M. Courtney (Angel), Daniel Courtney (Dana), sister, Jeanette Roberson, two brothers, Leslie Courtney, Jr. (Glenda), Edward Courtney (Joan), two grandchildren, Skylar Courtney and Chance Courtney. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. from the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Jim Morrison officiating. The visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Wynn Cemetery, Summerdale, Alabama.
