Kenneth (Bubba) Lee, age 62, passed away in his home in Daphne, Alabama on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021.
Bubba was preceded in death by his mother, Helen (Skeeter) Peters and is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rise’(Lazzari) Lee; father, Kenny Lee; step-father, Bert Peters; sister, Debbie Knapp (Doug); bonus son, Ian Lazzari; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Bubba made many friends and impacted the community with his generosity, hospitality, work ethic, humor, and love of BBQ at Original Ben’s Jr. in Fairhope, Alabama which he owned with his wife from 1985 to 2018.
Above all things Bubba loved his wife, and a very close second, his dogs. Heaven helps anyone who would mistreat either. He appreciated classic cars, the peace of a koi pond in the yard, and a cold Coors Light.
Anyone who knew Bubba was lucky. Anyone who called him friend was blessed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale, Alabama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment to follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery in Daphne, Alabama.
