DAPHNE, Ala.—A Daphne restaurant will host a wine-tasting with former National Football League and University of Alabama quarterback Ken Stabler. The event is set for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, at Bimini Bob's.

The wine-tasting is free and will include a sampling of Stabler's "12" Championship Collection of Wines.

With the tagline, “Celebrate your success”, the “12” series features three red and two white wines and is currently available at select wine shops in Alabama, Baumhower’s Restaurants across the state, Wings U in Tuscaloosa, and Bimini Bob’s  in Daphne. Legends Cellars will soon be selling the wine in Mississippi, Georgia and other surrounding states. A portion of the proceeds for these sales will benefit the XOXO Stabler Foundation, which supports various charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Mobile’s Camp Rap-A-Hope, and Mulherin Custodial Home in Mobile.

“I’m looking forward to spending Valentine’s with my friends from Mobile, Baldwin County, and at Bimini Bob’s,” Stabler said in a news release.

The restaurant is located on U.S. Highway 98 and features local food with a Caribbean touch.
