Edward James Karcz, 93, born Sept. 20, 1915 in Brooklyn, N.Y., a resident of Foley, died Friday, March 13, 2009 in Daphne.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Foley Senior Center, Senior Circle and St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Viahakis Karcz of Foley; son, Jeffrey Karcz of Lithia, Fla.; daughter, Patricia Scarborough of Livittown, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 17 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley with Father Paul Zoghby officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
