Kenneth J. Kant, 76, a native of Green Bay, Wis., and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008.
He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a lifelong member of the Moravian Church. He was active in Habitat For Humanity in Baldwin County and also active in missions work. He will be greatly missed my his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kant of Gulf Shores; three children, Deborah Taschner of Akron, Ohio, Larry H. Kant of Masa, Ark., and Kathryn Graykowski of Dublin, Calif.; brother, Harry Kant of Milwaukee, Wis.; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the First Presbyterian Church Of Gulf Shores.
A memorial service will also be held at the Lakeview Moravian Church in Madison, Wis., at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Of Gulf Shores.
