Robin Kirk “Corky” Kaechele, 56, was born to Thelma and John Kaechele March 28,1956. He was born to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.
He was well known for his generous loving heart. He was the first little league player to hit the ball out of the Elberta baseball park. He successfully “obtained” two of Mr. Hand’s paddles from Elberta Elementary. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, water skiing and just spending time with his family and friends out on the water. He probably caught more mullet for enjoyment than any other person alive. He always put his whole heart into everything he did, because of this he spent all of his free time for three years physically building his family a home. He lived each day with his faith in God, loving his family and friends, providing and giving of himself always. His iHis greatest accomplishment was sharing the love in his heart, a legacy we should all follow. He lived life to the fullest and left his footprints deep in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his mother “Blacky;” his brother, Jim; sister-in-law, Bev Kaechele; and nephew, Scotty Gartman. Survivors include his loving wife, Annette; three children Robyn, Jack and Caraline; siblings, Eleanor “Doodle”(Cecil) Gartman, John “Bud” (Marilyn) Kaechele, Joyce “Chick” Kaechele, Robert “Lex” (Debra) Kaechele, Vernon “Geezer” (Deanna) Kaechele, Lorraine “Pi” (Richard) Riemer, Madelyn “Monk” (Charles) Tucker and Charles “Chuck” (Darlene) Kaechele, his father, Johnny Kaechele; father- and mother-in-law, Kenny and Marie Kaiser; three sisters-in-law, Regina (Phil) Constan, Cindy (Jay) Saiter and Tricia (Mark) Hamlin; brother-in-law Kenny (Brooke) Kaiser; 31 nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and nephews, five great-great-nieces and nephews; a host of other very close relatives and friends.
Recitation of the Rosary begins at 8 a.m. with visitation at 8:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Elberta with Father Ronald Gajettan officiating. Graveside services will follow at Prince of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Elberta.
Pallbearers are George Nelson, Eric Eckerle, Tony Gaubatz, Kelton Kaiser, Henry Burkhardt and Paul Riebe. Honorary pallbearers are Lucas Durance, Robbie Pilgrim, Jack Danley, Jim Horak and Bill Bryerley.
