Joyce Kay Taylor, 59, born in Charleston, S.C. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary.
She worked in aircraft maintenance.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Burger of Bay Minette; her children, Grover Phipps III of Homer, La. and Jamie Aaron Phipps of Orlando, Fla.; her mother, Linda Whitlock of Houma, La.; and a brother, Todd Whitlock of Gaines, La.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 1 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 20, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m., and Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service.
