Johnnie Jones, 74, a native of Mairanna, Ark., and a resident of Silverhill, died Monday, May 12, 2008.
He was a retired Lieutenant with the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Grace M. Jones of Silverhill; daughter, Kellie A. Jones of Silverhill; son, Stephen A. Jones of Mobile; brother, Billy R. Jones of Prescott, Ark.; three sisters, LaMay Jones and Louise Jones, both of Brownsville, Tenn., and Betty Morris of El Campo, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 14 at Mack Funeral Home with Father William James officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
