Nathan Jones, a native of Philadelphia, and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday Aug. 6, 2009 at a local health care facility.
Survivors include his wife Lillie M. Jones of Fairhope; two sons, Nathan Jones of Washington, D.C. and Darryl Jones of Chicago; step-son, Clinton Lewis Jr. of Fairhope; two daughters, Harriett (Samuel) Rucker of Virginia Beach City, Va., and Beverly Jones of Portsmouth, Va.; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Twin Beech AME Zion Church. Interment will follow at Twin Beech Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
