Anita Wooden Johnson of Elberta died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008.

Having worked her entire life, including many years as a loan officer, she ultimately helped a new attorney establish a law practice and was extremely proud of her years working in the legal profession. She was a true advocate with a heart of gold.

Survivors include a brother, Jeff Morgan; son, Larry Johnson Jr., and other relatives.

She was fiercely proud of her Cherokee heritage, her Tennessee roots, all military veterans and her loved ones here in Elberta.

Family and friends will gather for her favorite things, black coffee, draft beer, shrimp salad and pea salad at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16 in the smoking section of Wolf Bay Lodge.

Her ashes will be spread in her home state of Tennessee.
