Roland L. Johns, 88, a native of Evergreen and lifelong resident of Fairhope, died Friday, July 30, 2010.
He retired from Brookley AFB in Mobile and was a Baldwin County farmer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Johns; mother and father, Charles and Ruth Johns; sisters, Belle Hunter, Ruby Byrne and Mildred Jenkins; and brother, Charles Johns.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Mackie) Clark and Debbie (Homer) Walters; three grandchildren, David Clark, Darron Clark and Kari Clark Walley; eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Private graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
