John Theodore “J.T.” Roberts Sr.

John Theodore “J.T.”  Roberts Sr., 67, born in the White House Fork community of Bay Minette and a resident of Rabun, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.

He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum, and served with the National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Benton) Roberts of Rabun; his children, Wendy (Mark) Chestang of Citronelle, Jay (Melissa) Roberts of Bay Minette, Joey (Lisa) Welch of Rabun, Jeremy (Ashley) Welch of Semmes and Deitra Roberts (Johnny) Steadham of Bay Minette; grandchildren, Jonathan, Courtney, Alex, Tiffany, Steffani, Dalton, Erin, Jarrett, Kara, John Landon, Ashley Ann, Caleb, Lennon, Joshua, Tripper and Lauren Beauchamp; great-grandchildren, A.J. and Avery; a brother, William H. Roberts of Rabun; and four sisters, Nettie Lou Davis and Rosalyn Plato, both of White House Fork, Marilyn Roberts of Orange Beach and Marty Fitzpatrick of Bromley.

The wake will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 6 p.m. until service time at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 10 a.m., at White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. J.P. Lambert, the Rev. Fred Stallworth and the Rev. Charles Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Vinson Jr., B.J. Roberts, Brian Roberts, Jonathan Sullivan, Johnny Steadham and Joey Welch.
