John H. Cain, age 87, a native of Bay Minette, Ala. and a resident of Robertsdale, Ala. passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015.
Mr. Cain was associated with Assembly of God churches for over 60 years.
Mr. Cain retired from Reichhold Co. in 1988 after 36 ½ years. He then went to work for Westminister Village for several years.
Mr. Cain was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening, but mostly he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, brother, one son, John H. Cain Jr.; and is survived by wife, Jeanette Cain of Robertsdale, Ala.; two daughters, Deborah Cain of Foley, Ala., Barbara (James D.) Gentry of Bay Minette, Ala.; son, Thomas (Tiffany) Cain of Robertsdale, Ala., nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Robertsdale First Assembly of God, with Rev. Michael Lynn officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in the Bay Minette Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Alabama, 300 Office Park Dr., Suite 225, Birmingham, AL 35223.
