John Gregory “Greg” Evans, 44, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Mobile.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Leigh Evans; his two sons, John George and Robert Henry Evans; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Douglas Evans; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Odom Sr.; his brother, Somerville (Heidi) Evans; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Cassie) Odom Jr.; his niece and nephew, Ella and Trey Odom; his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel E. Uyesato; and many other family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at Ashland Place United Methodist Church, 15 Wisteria Ave. in Mobile, at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014.
The family will receive friends following the service for a visitation at 3.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKemie Place, a shelter for homeless women, in Mobile, P.O. Box 9082, Mobile, AL 36691.
