John D. “Fats” Henry Sr., age 83, a native and resident of Fairhope, Ala., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015.
Mr. Henry was a member of the Greeno Masonic Lodge No. 598, Fairhope. Mobile Bay and the seafood industry was his passion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Deborah H. Robinson; four brothers, Joseph W. Henry, Doug Henry, Stephen Henry and Edwin Henry.
Mr. Henry is survived by three daughters, Kathy H. (Kent) Trione, Terry H. Smith, Sharon H. Hunt; son, John D. (Jeanne) Henry Jr.; close friend, Carol Howard; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Montrose Cemetery, with Mr. Taylor Phillips officiating.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
