John Brockett, 84, of Gulf Shores, passed away on May 7, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Wallace Brockett of Gulf Shores; a stepson, Nicholas Weidinger of Gulf Shores; a stepdaughter, Stacey Stilwell of New Mexico; his children, John L. Brockett Jr. (Tish) of Boulder, Colo., Albert (Bill) and Cathie Brockett of Missouri, Bona Brockett of Foley, Donna Greenwood and Jimmy Bishop of Missouri, Jimmy Brockett of Missouri, Brett Brockett of Missouri, Tammy Hill of Missouri, Kimberly Profeta of Missouri, Cathy Metzler and Bill of Missouri, David Brockett and Jen of Missouri and Lisa Mclaughton and Dan of Missouri; stepdaughters, Vicki Hose of Missouri, Susan Day of Missouri and Chris Kapono of Missouri; 26 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lenny; and grandson, David.
A military graveside service for Mr. Brockett will be held at 11 a.m., May 20,2013, from Barrancas National Cemetery on NAS Pensacola.
