John B. Gaydos, 83, born in Edwardsville, Pa. and a resident of Daphne, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013.
He worked for many years as a steam and pipefitter at Root Steel, and served his country in the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Gaydos of Daphne; one son, Chris Gaydos; three daughters, Deborah Manning, Linda Silorey and Chaunette Carraway; 11 grandchildren, Chaunette McKinney, Aaron Silorey, Brad Silorey, Marchelle Silorey, Keith Gaydos, Daniel Gaydos, Nick Gaydos, Courtney Gaydos, Gabrielle Gaydos, Alexandra Manning and Raelynn Carraway; and one great-grandchild, Keller McKinney.
