Orlando Bogart “Bogie” Jensen, 82, a native of Glidden Iowa, and resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at a local hospital.
He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II , 8th Air Force, 407th Squadron, 92nd Bomb group, 1st Division Air Corps, flew 37 missions in B-17's.
He farmed for a number of years in Iowa before founding Graphics and Mailing Service Inc. in Montgomery. He moved to Fairhope in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his brother Niels L. Jensen Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Jensen of Fairhope; son Leonard S. (Celia) Thornton of Duluth, Ga., two grandsons, one great-grandson , two brothers, Barry Jensen of Carroll, Iowa, and George Jensen of Atlanta; two sisters, Marlene Prill of Lanesboro, Iowa, and Marjorie Schreiber of Wilmington , N.C.
Private family services will be held.
