Jean “Marie” Todd, age 83, a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021.
Marie was retired from working numerous years in the seafood industry; after retirement she was an active member of the Quilters Guild. She was a caregiver, a loving grandmother and a longtime resident of Plash Island.
Marie was preceded in death by her spouse, Donald F. Todd; infant twin daughters; parents, Madison and Irene Smith; sister, Faye White; brothers, Jerry, Bobby, Joe, Eddie Dean, Robert Eugene, Donnie and Clyde Ray Smith.
She is survived by her children, Shelton (Peggy) Todd and Cindy (Tracy) Chapman; her grandchildren, Bradley Bell, Krystal Niel and Candace Munoz; her great-grandchildren, Claire, Liam, Aiden, Benjamin and William; siblings, Catherine Nelson, Nancy Floyd, Martha Cuffel, Darlene Woods, Gary Dale Smith and Ronnie Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Shell Banks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in memory of Marie Todd, to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
