Jason Hadley returns home to practice law in Baldwin County

Bay Minette, Ala. – Jason Hadley has spent the last 10 years in Mississippi. With the start of a new year he decided it was time to return home. The Hadley Law Firm opened its doors in Bay Minette in March of this year and on July 25th the legal practice was welcomed to the North Baldwin Chamber Family with a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Jason is from Perdido (Ala.) and is a 2003 graduate of Baldwin County High School. He attended Millsaps College for his undergraduate studies, where he was a four-year letterman in baseball and received the Paul Benton Award for academic and athletic achievement. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hadley journeyed to the Mississippi College School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010.

While in law school, Hadley clerked with Ringer & Lingold and the Gilliam Law Firm. After graduating, Hadley joined Ringer & Lingold in the Jackson, Mississippi area where he concentrated on general civil litigation and personal injury litigation. He also served as assistant city prosecutor and assistant city attorney. In 2011 Hadley took the Alabama Bar Exam in preparation to make the transition home again.

“Although we both (Jason and wife Jaynie) loved our friends that we had in the Jackson area, we both knew that we wanted to be back in Baldwin County one day,” said Hadley. “The opportunity presented itself, so we decided to make the leap.”

Even though Jason was in Mississippi for so long, he always kept an eye on the economic climate and development back home. “It seems as if Baldwin County, including North Baldwin County, has a lot going on and is one of the only counties in the State that is growing despite the recent economic climate. Bay Minette and the surrounding communities seem to be doing well also,” stated Hadley.

When asked how it felt to be home again, Hadley replied, “We are glad to be back in Baldwin County, with most of our family and friends. Our family and friends have been supportive, and we could not have made the leap without them. I knew that I wanted to practice law since middle school, and the Lord has blessed me with the opportunity. I love to help people, and this profession allows me to do just that.”

Jason Hadley is married to Jaynie Milstead Hadley. They have one daughter, Addison Claire Hadley, who is 3 years old. Jaynie is an elementary education teacher and will join the staff of Silverhill Elementary for the 2013-2014 school year as a 1st grade teacher.
