Janice S. Neth, 80, a native of New Orleans and resident of Robertsdale, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013.
Mrs. Neth was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church since 1976. She was a past president of the Archdioceses Council of Catholic Women and a member of the St. Patrick’s Ladies Auxiliary.
She volunteered many hours while assisting with numerous fundraising activities.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Floyd Neth; daughter, Alison (Steven) Slaughter; three sons, Wade (Linda) Neth, Bryan (Dannielle) Neth, all of Robertsdale, and Randall (Chezley) Neth of Orange Beach; three sisters, Suzanne Jung of Baton Rouge, La., Carole Fowler of St. Louis, Mo. and Lisette St. Mard of Madisonville, La.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 2 p.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale, with Father William James and Father Patrick Madden officiating. Interment will be in Silverhill Cemetery.
A visitation for Mrs. Neth will be held from noon until the service time at the church.
