James William Devine, 77, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 in Pensacola.
Mr. Devine was employed by Thomas Hospital for 35 years as senior mechanic over the engineering department. He was also a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, VFW Post 5660 and Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Devine was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Devine.
He is survived by his daughter, Stella Maggs and family; nieces, Cookie Gustin, Lulu Graves and Theresa Stafford; nephew, Billy Pack; and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, from 5 until 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Fairhope, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 370 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
