James T. “Jimmy” Wilsey, 63, a native and a resident of Loxley, died Monday, July 11, 2011.

He was a highway contractor for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. He loved and enjoyed his family.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Wilsey of Loxley; daughter, Victoria Lynn Jernigan of Loxley; five sisters, Janet Wilsey of Wenatchee, Wash., Joan Wilsey of Loxley, Carolyn Harrison of Stockton, Margaret Conway of Petal, Miss., and Eva Marie Lancaster of Bryan, Texas; brother, Tommy Wilsey of Loxley; three grandchildren, Ash Wurzbach, Cameron Maggie Lister and Lyndsay Taylor Jernigan; and two great-grandchildren, Baleigh Webb and Cole Wurzbach.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Friday, July 15 at Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Community Hospice.
