James "Jimmy" Green, age 56, born in Bay Minette, and a resident of the Pine Grove Community, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Thomas Hospital, Fairhope.
He worked in the maintenance department at Standard Furniture Manufacturing Company. He is survived by his wife, Louise (Gibson) Green of Pine Grove; two sons, James S. Green of St. George, Ga., and Jimmy E. Green of Pine Grove; two daughters, Kelli Smith of Pine Grove and Selena Green of Bay Minette; stepchildren, Hank Williams of Rabun, Juanda Greene of Stapleton, Charles David Williams of Carrollton, Ga., and Kim Fields of Red Bud, Ill; two brothers, Rusty Green of Bay Minette, and Danny Green of Perdido; three sisters, Brenda Styron of Bay Minette, Sara Robertson of Perdido, and Elizabeth Spillman of Bay Minette; 14 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, July 20, 2012 from 12-2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, Darren "Doc" Norrirp, Mark Greene, William Robertson, Jody Fields, Donnie Styron, Ronnie Styron, Billy Bob Steege and Chance Stewart.
