James Dywane “Jim” Nabors, 45, a native of Illinois and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.
Jim was a loving husband and father. He could always make people laugh.
Jim was a Past Master of the Spanish Fort Masonic Lodge No. 916.
He was a friend to many and loved by all. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Nabors; and his brother, Robert “Don” Nabors.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Karen Lori Johnson Nabors; his two beautiful daughters, Jamie Dyane Nabors and Shelby Payton Nabors, both of Spanish Fort; his four sisters, Jacqueline Holshouser of Bloomingdale, Ga., Deborah Ingalls of Avon Park, Fla., Linda Smith of Statesboro, Ga. and Martha McKnight of North Augusta, S.C.; and his brother, John Walker of North Chicago, Ill.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, from 5-8 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.
