James Daniel Smith, 63, a native of Union Springs and a resident of Stapleton, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 in Copan Ruinas, Honduras.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Brandon) Brown of Bay Minette; a son, Andrew Smith of Bay Minette; a granddaughter, Kaya Brown; and two sisters, Dianne (Keith) Bromley and Carol Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daurice Marbry Smith of Montgomery; and his mother, Jeanne Caroline Smith of Plano, Texas.
The family would like to invite friends and former clients to an Irish wake at the law office of Vince Bellucci, 109 First St. in Bay Minette on Nov. 7, 2014, from 1 until 7 p.m.
