James Daniel McRae, age 73, a native of Mobile and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away, Sunday, April 16, 2017.
He retired from the U.S. Army then from Springhill Hospital. Dan was an avid golfer and a master woodworker.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda R. McRae of Spanish Fort; two sons, Jeffrey D. McRae of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mark R. (Elizabeth R.) McRae of Birmingham, Alabama; two brothers, Richard (Constance Stratus) McRae of Spanish Fort, Gregory (Pamela) McRae of Daphne; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Montrose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made in Dan's name to the charity of your choice.
