Dorothea Svoboda “Mike” Jackson, a native of Pittsburg, a former resident of Harrisburg, Pa., Hartford, Conn., White Plains, N.Y., and a resident of Daphne, died Friday, June 1, 2007.
She was a graduate of Allegheny High School, Pittsburgh. She attended Carnegie Mellon University, Wichersham School of Music and the University of Pittsburgh.
She was employed by Kraft/General Foods Corp. home office in White Plains, N.Y.
She was a member of Lake Forest Ladies Golf Association, Couples Golf Association and Womens’ Club, as well as a member of Westminster Village Marketing and New Members Committees.
She was also a member of Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church to whom memorial may be made for their building fund.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Woods Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice J. Reed of Gainsville, Ga.A; a son, David (Angela) Jackson of Hernando, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4 at Spanish Fort Presbyterian Church. Private burial services will be held at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
